FOREWORD BY THE DEAN
Assalamualaikum wbt and Good Day Everyone,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Student
Research Day (SRD 2021). The major goal and feature of this SRD 2021 are to bring
Final Year Students to exchange and share their research outcomes on Final Year
Project and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the solutions
adopted.
The Faculty of Science and Marine Environment was honoured to be asked to
host this year SRD 2021. I would like to thank the organizing committee, all Final Year
Project Coordinators, invited evaluators and reviewers for their hard work reviewing
and making valuable suggestions for improving the students' work.
It is clear that this pandemic has utterly disrupted the conventional
system of conducting the Final Year Project. Nonetheless, despite all
the challenges, the integration of online education has effectively
increased students' critical thinking and adaptability beyond the
intended learning outcomes of the Final Year Project.
Congratulations to all students who have submitted their work
to SRD 2021. And heartiest congratulations to all winners for a
job well done! I am so pleased to see you accomplishing great
things, and you deserve this recognition for your success.
